SUMMARY:Masks Required Ice Skating at Oly on Ice- January 11th
DESCRIPTION:^The photo above is credited to Experience Oly and represents a public skate several years ago\, when masks were still required at the rink^ \nWe will be hosting a private\, masks required ice skating session on Sunday January 11th from 8:00 PM to 9:30 PM!\nCost\n-There are two types of tickets: Skater tickets and Observer tickets. Observer tickets are for non-skaters and are free. Skater tickets are for skaters and include skate rentals. Skater tickets cost $15\, or there are no-cost tickets available if cost is a barrier. \n-Tickets are non-refundable\, unless the event is cancelled\, but they are transferrable. If you would like to transfer your tickets\, please email covidinfosouthsound@gmail.com \n*The cost for this event is $625 for a minimum of 25 skaters and then $10 per additional skater. I have chosen to charge $15 per skater\, which is not enough to cover the cost. If you would like to donate to close the gap or to sponsor no-cost tickets\, please purchase one or more “Donate a Ticket”. Thank you so much for your support in making fun\, Covid-safer\, financially accessible events possible* \nPrecautions\n-Masks are required and must be worn at all time while in the rink structure. Masks must be KF94/KN95 or better. You will need to leave the rink structure to consume food or beverages. \n-Please do not attend if you have ill symptoms\, or have tested positive for any infectious illness \n-All staff have agreed to wear KN95 masks during the event\, which will be provided to them by the host. There will have been a public skate ending right before our event. \n-The rink is technically enclosed\, however it is quite drafty. When the rink is not busy (<50 people present) my Aranet readings have stayed in the 800-900s or less. Weather permitting\, we will do our best to prop the doors open for additional ventilation. \nLogistics\n-Everyone who is skating will need to fill out a digital waiver form for Oly On Ice when they arrive. There is a QR code posted at the ice rink that leads to the digital waiver form. A Waiver must be completed for all skaters. Parents will need to fill out waivers for minors. \n-Parking is free in the spots next to the rink. \nAccessibility\n-Skate aids are available for those who need them. There are only 4 skate aids available. They are red and are pictured in the photo above. \n-There is ample seating available in the rink structure\, mostly benches\, but also table and chairs. If you would like to come and socialize\, but not skate\, please claim an Observer ticket and come meet other Covid-cautious folks! \n-The entrance to the rink has a wide ramp\, ADA accessible ramp. \n-Parking next to the rink includes at least 2 ADA accessible spots. \n-There are public portapotties\, including an ADA accessible one\, available in front of the rink structure. \n  \nIf you have any additional questions or concerns\, please email covidinfosouthsound@gmail.com.

SUMMARY:Masks Required Movie Pillion at The Grand Cinema in Tacoma
DESCRIPTION:We are hosting a masks required showing of Pillion at The Grand Cinema movie theater on Thursday March 12th at 7:00 PM\nThis is a rated-R queer romantic comedy from a queer director\, and I’m so excited to offer a covid-safer way for us to see this in the theater! Due to the explicit content in the film\, please do not bring children to the showing (https://www.commonsensemedia.org/movie-reviews/pillion) \nCost\n-Regular price tickets are $13\, Discount tickets are $6 if cost is a barrier. If you need no-cost tickets\, please contact me at covidinfosouthsound@gmail.com to request no-cost tickets. \n-Tickets are non-refundable\, but are transferrable. If you would like to transfer your tickets\, please email covidinfosouthsound@gmail.com \nPrecautions\n-Please wear a mask that is KF94/KN95 or better and keep it on at all times while in the theater (Sip valves are welcome) \n-Staff will not necessarily be masked and there will be other showings at the same time in different screening rooms\, so other\, unmasked patrons will be present in the building. \n-I have never been to this theater before\, so I do not have information on the ventilation or Aranet readings for this theater. \nLogistics\n-Please arrive at 6:40 PM so that we can be seated prior to the start of the movie. \n-The screening room for our showing seats 95. Depending on the interest for this showing\, I may offer up to 75 tickets\, but I will keep the showing at some level of reduced capacity. \nAccessibility\n– Here is the link to the accessibility page for the theater https://grandcinema.com/accessibility The page includes information about the seat measurements\, the location of wheel chair accessible seats and companion seats\, and the options for hearing and visual aid devices. \n-This will be an open captioned version of the film (yay subtitles!) \n– The seats have arm rests that raise up\, except for aisle seats. \n-The bathrooms are ADA accessible. \nParking\nAccording to the website for the theater\, the adjacent lot is temporarily free to park in\, but I would confirm this with the theater once you have parked. \nAdditionally\, according to the theater website\, “the Pierce County Alliance lot (438 S Fawcett) is available for Grand Cinema use after 4:30pm M-F and all day Sat\, Sun and holidays. Lot closes when the last film ends. Please check our website or inquire at the box office as that time does change daily. Cars left in the lot will be locked in and towed at the end of the night.” \nThis adjacent lot at 438 S Fawcett has two ADA parking spaces. \n  \nIf you have any additional questions or concerns\, please email covidinfosouthsound@gmail.com.
